I'll probably go check this out. I do not like (1) college fic, (2) road trips, (3) most contemporary romance, (4) enemies(lite)-to-lovers, (5) male fan spaces, (6) representations of fandom in pro-media, and (7) while I don't DISLIKE the whole "there was only one bed" trope, it sits at a solid "meh" on my give-a-fuckometer. I read that and my eyebrows raised SO HIGH. I didn't know anything about this book to know what it was about but I remember the novels you liked best from the ones I've shared with you. I think... there's like 0 overlap? with that list??
So that fact that you liked it to me says a lot. I will be completely honest that I haven't read your whole review because I like going into stories knowing not very much, but I'll come back and read your review after I've read the book
